The Greer Hogan Mysteries
Greer Hogan is a 40-year-old widowed librarian who makes a mean martini and who never lied about anything she considered important until the night her husband was murdered—because she was with her first love at the time of his death. Wanting a fresh start, she changes careers and moves to the village of Raven Hill, but murder follows her. First, her closest friend in the village—dead at the bottom of a staircase in the gothic manor that serves as the village library, with Greer herself a suspect. Then a guest at a society wedding she attends in Lake Placid, where the finger of suspicion points at her ex. Finally, the unpopular chair of the library board is run off the road on a foggy night, and every staff member has a motive. With her encyclopedic knowledge of mystery fiction, Greer channels her favorite detectives and puts the culprits behind bars. Never convinced that the right person went to jail for her husband’s murder, Greer returns to New York City with a few tricks up her sleeve, determined to find the truth.
